NTCC Daglig Leder besøkte DEIK Tyrkia Norges næringsrådspresident

I januar 2024 besøkte Gül Çapar Mogensen, daglig leder i vår forening, presidenten i DEIK Turkiye - Norway Business Council, Mehmet Ünlü, i Istanbul. Under møtet delte Ünlü verdifull innsikt og erfaring for å styrke forretningsforbindelsene mellom de to landene. Han uttrykte sin visjon og sitt håp om å se oss som en medformasjon av DEIKs næringslivsråd i Norge i fremtiden.

An official visit by King Harald V. to Türkiye played an important role in the development of bilateral relations and helped to speed up the ongoing activities to establish a DEİK Türkiye-Norway Business Council. During the king’s visit a Turkish-Norwegian Business Forum was held at which DEİK and its Counterpart Organization, Innovation Norway, signed the Establishment Agreement.

Norway is a member of the European Economic Area and one of the richest countries on the continent. Its traditional industries are ship building and shipping as well as fishing.  The Nordic country owns the fourth largest shipping fleet in the world. Norway is also a leading international exporter of metals, and the EU’s main source for aluminium. Its main industries are petrol and gas, shipping and maritime trade, fishing and sea products, renewable energy and manufacturing. The country is also known for its innovations. The Council’s activities are focused on developing cooperation in those sectors.
